Summer Schedule Announced

YES – the Clubhouse is open in the summer.  There will be 8 one-week sessions for youth, ages 10-18,  that include Design Squad,  software challenges, robotics, WordPress and fun.

Hours will be Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM to Noon;  Fridays, 5:00-10:00 PM.

Spaces are limited so be sure to sign up early.

On Monday (Girls’ Day)

On Monday, May 10th @ 3pm the girls at the Computer Clubhouse will be doing an investigation into pollution in the Lake City neighborhood. This will include a short walk to American Lake where we will collect water and soil samples. Get ready to make some interesting discoveries!

We are changing the Clubhouse schedule a bit to take advantage of more kids now hanging around in Lake City…

Monday is again GIRLS DAY form 3:00 to 7:00.

The Friday Program is now at the Clubhouse at Harrison Prep – from 3:00 to 7:00.  We use the Clubhouse at Lakewood Pres on Wednesdays for Robotics.

The SUMMER schedule will be posted soon.

Now is a great time to get involved with Clubhouse robotics.  How many teams will the Computer Clubhouse enter this year?  We are meeting Wednesdays at the Clubhouse at Lakewood Pres.  5:30 to 8:00.

Last year, 25 Clubhouse members, mentors and staff took some time on Earth Day to pick up litter around Lake City. After collecting about 60 lbs of trash we had fun sharing what treasures we found via a “reverse” scavenger hunt.  Here are the pictures…..

Back in town on Friday

Hey everyone.  The Clubhouse staff will be back in town on Friday after a great conference in Atlanta.  We have lots of new ideas for projects and are ready to get started.  The Clubhouse at Harrison Prep. will be open on Friday from 1-3 for homeschoolers and the Clubhouse at Lakewood Pres. will be open from 3:00 to 8:00.

Next week everything should be back to normal – but come prepared to do some great projects.

Annual Conference

The Clubhouse will be CLOSED – April 12, 13, 14, and 15th .  Kurt and Rain will be attending the annual Clubhouse conference in Atlanta.  The Clubhouse will re-open on Friday the 16th.
