Mondays – 8:00 to Noon – Design Squad

You’ll never know what your team will have  to create but you’ll only have two hours to do it!  Every week, something new, something different.  While you are creating, a film crew will be taking footage of the challenge so we can create out own Design Squad episode.

Tuesdays, 8:00 to Noon – the Software Challenge

You’ll be taught the fundamentals of a certain piece of Clubhouse software and it is up to you to come up with a project that best shows off your creativity and the capabilities of that software.

Wednesdays, 8:00 to Noon – Robotics

We will be getting ready for competing in the First Lego League and Vex Robotics season.  We will be meeting at Lakewood Presbyterian Church for this program as we have lots of room there to build and test robots.

Thursdays, 8:00 to Noon – A Morning of Service

Thursday’s program is all about service.  We will be learning how to diagnose and fix computer problems so members can help others in their communities.  We will also be learning about WordPress so we can create and maintain a website that will benefit the Lake City neighborhood.

Fridays – 5:00 to 10:00 PM – Linux, Puppets, Stargazing & Campfires

There is no morning program on Fridays, but we’ll switch to an evening program at the Clubhouse at Lakewood Presbyterian Church.  There is a lot to do there – both using and not using technology.  Bring a snack to share and we’ll provide the s’mores.
