Once again a chance to do something cool with legos.
Lego battle bots are back – Wednesdays, 3:00 to 6:00 at the Robotics Center.
3:00 – Arrive
3:15 – The arena is unveiled teams are selected
3:30 – Bot Building – Programming – Bluetooth configuration
4:15 – The battles begin. How will your team do? How often will you have to rebuild your robot?
5:45 – Clean up – take the bots apart so we are ready for next week.
School starts Wednesday – at least for Clover Park. The Computer Clubhouse swings into action again.

GET READY and GET EXCITED! We are going to have a fun and productive school year at the Clubhouse. The theme this year is “Community Service”.
The Lakewood Computer Clubhouse presents …… LEGO BATTLE BOTS!
Can you design a robot that will outlast the other robot on the table? Will it have weapons? Good traction? Spikes and other defenses?
Can you program it to run both independently as well as be controlled by your keyboard? Will it be the best bot on the table?
Lego Battle Bots meets on Mondays, May 16 – June 20 (except Memorial Day) from 3:00 to 6:00 at the Robotics Center, Lakewood Presbyterian Church, 8601 104th Street SW, Lakewood, WA 98498. This program is free and is open to youth, ages 9-14. Donations of snacks are appreciated.
The Lakewood Computer Clubhouse, an outreach of Pierce College, is a free after-school program that partners youth, ages 10-18, with technology and caring mentors.
