1191600172FV2u4zThe Lakewood Computer Clubhouse’s Friday program is now a family event!  The Friday Computer Clubhouse meets at Lakewood Presbyterian Church and is a great way for youth and families to start the weekend with new friends and fun activities.

00 – The Clubhouse Opens.  Work on a computer, play ping-pong, air hockey or foosball.

00 – Puppetry.  We have some neat puppets at the Clubhouse and every week we’ll put together and film a show in front of the “green screen”.  Maybe a fairy tale, a fable, or a funny story the puppets make it come to life.  Bring your own ideas and scripts too.

30 – Learn Something New.  The Family Computer Clubhouse runs on Linux and open source programs  There is so much to learn from our members and mentors.  There will also be games and crafts for younger kids at this time.

30 – Family Game.  Something weird and something fun.

00 – Free Time on the Computers and Open Mic.  Do you have a story or poem to share?  The microphone is ON and it is a friendly audience.  If the stars are out then we’ll get out the telescope.
