This week on Design Squad.  On the Mississippi River with Huckleberry Finn.

Monday – we discovered how hard it was to build a raft using only materials we found from nature.

Tuesday – paddle-wheel boat races.  Only one paddleboat made it across the pool but there were great design ideas and plenty of duct tape.

Wednesday – the robotics teams built a circus, a ball pitcher/batter,  a three-speed transmission, and a mouse trap.
